​Available September 1 - April 15 from 10pm - 1am.  Get married on the perfect night under spectacular Northern Lights/ The Aurora Borealis.  Our staff will be on call for 7 consecutive nights to await your approval for the perfect night.  Our staff will check with the University of Alaska Geophysical Institute Aurora forecast and local weather forecasts.  We will consult with you each evening to determine the time and location of your ceremony. We will determine each night by 8pm if your wedding is a "go" or "hold" for that day.

  • Additional Aurora/ Ceremony Photographer  - (recommended for groups larger than 4) $1300 per 1/2 hour.  Two photographers to catch your wedding memories.

Dress For Cold Weather!

If the Aurora Borealis is out in the winter, it means skies are clear.  Clear skis in winter with no cloud cover mean the air temperature will be bitterly cold.  December -February temps can be -30F,-40F,-50F and up to -60F.  Many of the Aurora viewing areas have no place to warm up.  You may outside for an extended amount of time.  Be prepared with appropriate outdoor winter wedding attire.  Hat's, gloves, boots, coats, chemical hand, foot and body warmers are highly recommended.  Please be aware the camera, cellphone and video equipment freeze within minutes unless you have taken special precautions to keep them warm.

How It Works

Our expert wedding team will be exclusively reserved for your Aurora Wedding for seven consecutive evenings.  Our team will be "on call" waiting for you to pick your perfect Aurora View evening.  Each day your wedding planner will email you a detailed weather/ aurora forecast report after consulting with local experts making the best prediction possible for the possibility of having a sighting of the Aurora borealis during your ceremony.  Together you and our wedding planner will decide by 8pm each evening if your wedding is a "go" or "no go".   The evening you select, our wedding team will meet you at your chosen wedding venue in the "after dark" hours for your wedding ceremony.  The place and time are of the Bride and Grooms choosing.  

If the Aurora does not make an appearance over the seven days, our wedding team will put together a candlelight/moonlight wedding in the snow the last night of your seven-day tenure of the wedding team.  50+ (wedding venue sight permitting) candles displayed in glass and wood beautifully arrayed in snow.  This may also be added at any location site while the Aurora is out but just not as many candles.

"One Shot Deal" Aurora Wedding

Only have one night in your schedule to attempt the Aurora Wedding of your dreams?  Maybe you don't have the budget to wait the entire week?  Try the "One Shot" Deal Aurora Wedding.  Contact our office for dates that our wedding team can leave open for you during your wedding time window.  Make your best guess from the Aurora forecast experts.  Book and pay for your wedding at the agreed upon time (usually one month in advance but might be able to book closer to date depending on wedding team availability), in advance of your wedding date.  You've got one night to either get married under the Aurora or have a beautiful midnight candlelight wedding.  Includes all services in the Aurora Adventure Wedding package, but for only one night.

Dog Sled Moonlight/Aurora Wedding

Get married under the Aurora/ Northern Lights,  next to your dog sled!  Our musher and the sled dogs are your honored guests to witness the affirmation of your love.  After you exchange your vows and the paperwork is complete, climb aboard your awaiting dog sled to enjoy a 20-30 minute dog sled ride under the stars and the Northern Lights (if they are out on your chosen day).  If the lights aren't out we will arrange for a moonlight/candlelight wedding in the snow next to your dog sled.  Includes all services in the Aurora Adventure Wedding package, but for only one night. This package is available between 10pm and 12am.  Weight limit 250 per person.  Package is dependent upon the availability our dog sled tour venders.
