Dog Sledding Wedding

A True Alaska Themed Wedding!

 A beautiful Alaskan wedding without the stress and hassle!  The historic Alaska Dog Mushers Association Hall/Headquarters for the Open North American Dog Sled Race.   A professionally decorated, historic log cabin event space awaits!  Our friendly staff takes care of all the work for you - all you have to do is show up with your marriage license and dressed for a wedding.  We use the Alaska Dog Mushing Associations log cabin, located on Farmers Loop Road.  This large log cabin is the racing headquarters for all dog mushing events and is the trail head for a 30 mile network of world class dog mushing trails. This building has; two restrooms and a large commercial kitchen. A rehearsal is highly recommended (if not with our staff then we provide a detailed wedding script for you and your party to rehearse from). Prices are subject to change without notice.  Larger weddings available - just ask for a quote.  Available December - March, 12pm - 7pm (dependent upon available daylight).  Bride and Groom assume all risk with mailing of the marriage license whether, they do it themselves or have our staff mail it with a tracking number. 4% credit card procession fee added to all transactions.

The Hall

  • Our staff will take care of the hall reservations for you and have it decorated and open to greet your guests.
  • Use of the hall for 3 hours.  Bathrooms available for dressing, if needed.
  • Your choice of alter decorations  from our Wedding Decoration Lending Library set out per your instructions.
  • Chair set up with aisle down the middle - your choice of pew bows from our decorations lending library.
  • ​Coordination with our vendors staff and your family.​
  • Complimentary "Alaska Themed" Wedding announcement cards mailed to 30 addresses (provided by bride & groom) by our staff, prior to your ceremony.
  • Guest book- for you to keep- on a decorated table at entry.
  • Complimentary USPS Priority Mailing of your marriage license with tracking #, if desired 
  • Set up and clean up of the hall.
  • Free Parking

The Ceremony

  • Choice of pre-scripted Christian or non- religious ceremony script. Customized for you.
  • ​A free copy of our exclusive "Guide To Planning Your Alaska Wedding" - Traditional & Destination wedding planning book.
  • Minister to officiate your ceremony.
  • Assistance in writing and choosing your own vows.
  • Signing of your marriage license by our non denominational minister/officiant.
  • Personalized story of your love written into a  Christian or Civil ceremony tailored to fit the taste of the bride and groom.(including  processional, giving away of the bride and recessional ceremony portions).
  • Your choice of sand ceremony or unity candle with keepsake.
  • Processional &  recessional choreographed for attendants - with music of your choice.
  • Wedding music of your choice playing before, during and after the ceremony and sound system.
  • ​Unlimited email consultations with our wedding planner to finalize ceremony details. 
  • One Facetime meeting and unlimited phone consultations with our minister for any ceremony related questions.
  • Special bible or poem readings (if desired).
  • Announcements to your guests during the ceremony.
  • Choreographed wedding ceremony script for your wedding party to rehearse from. (rehearsal not included).
  • Wedding coordinator to assist with all wedding ceremony choreography during the ceremony and wedding party flower distribution/ presentation.
  • Emailed and printed copy of the ceremony script for your records or keepsake.

Alaskan Extras!

  • 1.5 hours of dog sled rides for you and your guests - immediately after the ceremony.  A professional dog mushing staff will be on hand to take you and your guests for rides, answer dog mushing questions, meet the friendly, hardworking sled dogs and pose for pictures.  Dog sled rides will leave right from the door of the hall. (Length of dog sled ride available to guests is dependent upon number of guests wanting to ride.)
  • 1.5 hours Professional Wedding Photography by Huseyin Biceroglu Photography.  
  • Images edited in HB Photography signature style.
  • Images delivered on CD or by Google Drive.
  • 1 hour Indoor and .5 hour max Outdoor photography. 
  • Alaska themed photo props for casual and posed shots.
  • High resolution digital images with reprint rights.  
  • Alaska Themed reception games conducted by our wedding team or designated wedding party member during the reception. 
  • Decorated Refreshment table for your guests to enjoy.
  • ​Our staff will order and deliver all food items to the hall.
  • Drink table stocked with hot chocolate, hot cider, tea, coffee, hot water, 10 bottles sparkling cider w/ clear toasting cups for guests (champagne flute for couple), and 2 cases of bottled water.
  • Decorated cake table with your choice of 40 wedding cupcakes on cupcake tower w/ 6-inch topper cake or traditional 2 tier wedding cake - decorated in your style.
  • Decorated buffet table with 3 large Deli food trays of your choice
